The audio is about 2.5 hours and well worth it can get though it in a day if you listen will your making food, driving to work etc. I will likely listen to it again, as I found it motivating.
Predictably Irrational by Dan Ariely
This is a must read for marketers! A lot of case studies here that will honestly make you smile and laugh. I won’t spill the beans but let’s just say that there is a one that involves porn and a plastic wrapped computer, lol
The key takeaways were that when emotion and certain factors such as the opportunity to cheat or perceived value are involved that people with behave in a predictable way.
This is great education when you placing price point on say an upsell or picking a pricing structure for a product launch. You will find yourself armed with a competitive advantage in many situations after reading this book
Linchpin by Seth Godin
Linchpins are creative, artists, they stand out, would be hard to replace
Linchpins don’t need resumes, they have work they have done, blogs, project etc, speak for themselves
Good Quote Everyone was a genius at some point in their life, figuring something out etc, if they have done it before they can do it again
Part of the Art is the shipping process, and getting it to market, i.e pushing publish on a blog, launching a campaign
Rich Dad’s Before You Quit Your Job by Robert T. Kiyosaki
I listened to this one a couple of times. I lot of great nuggets in here for those that are potentially want to jump from a job word to the entrepreneur lifestyle. Robert tells of some of his personal experiences which I found quite interesting, hence why I listened to this one twice.

Midas Touch by Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki
I really liked this one, motivated me to strive to build the best “Brand” I can build. Both of these guys are mega successful and at the time of this writing, Donald looks like he has a real shot at becoming president. If you have a business and are creating a brand this is a must read. Tons of great stories and a lot of real life examples. Love them or hate them you have to respect them.
The Millionaire Fastlane by MJ DeMarco
My good friend and all star affiliate marketer John Crestani recommended this one to me and it was so good!! Funny, this guy MJ went to my alma mater Northern Illinois U and owned a limo company in Chicago land(as I have as well).

Coming from someone who has done it and has real world examples to prove it. He really breaks it down and helps you evaluate you life and get you on the right path. Solid read here.
Permission Marketing by Seth Godin
Older read here, but still relevant. Seth is one on my favorites and he nails it with this one. I was at the Traffic and Conversion Summit in 2016 and they were still recommending this one as a top read.
Long story short Seth nailed it back when this was written about building a list that you can build a relationship with and selling to your “friends” If your just getting into internet marketing you should read this one, if you have been in the game for a while you already know this stuff.
Pitch Anything by Oren Klaff
One of my favorites of all time for sales. The next time I have a big presentation coming up I will be listening to this one again. This guy is amazing, I wish he was on my team.
This book kept me interested until the very end, the final story was honestly one of the most motivational and exciting I have ever read. I won’t spill the beans on this but I will tell you if your in sales or business where deals need to be closed then you must read this one.
The Psychology of Selling by Brian Tracy
Another Great book, likely will read it again. This is a book for anyone in sales. If you are a salesman or a sales manager then you and your team need to know this one inside and out.
Brian Tracy is a sales wizard and he goes over tactic after tactic in this book. The are real life examples of the tactics in action and the results speak for themselves. This one is one you need to keep in the car and review before you walk into a sales meeting. Fun stuff!
The Secrets of The Millionaire Mind by T Harv Eker
Classic here and one everyone needs to read when you start on the entrepreneur path. One of my favorite takeaways is when you see a penny or any form of currency on the ground pick it up and say “thank you” I actually do this and I still feel lucky every time 🙂
The book is great for a mind set and will help you break free from you limiting beliefs on money and wealth. There are a ton of golden nuggets and and I actually read it twice. I have actually talked to Harv on the phone when he was looking to book a table in Las Vegas, I admire him as a visionary.
The Intention Experiment by Lynne McTaggart
This is a long one, interesting by long. A lot of really cool experiments that reinforce the power of the brain and thoughts. This one makes you really think that you can turn your thoughts into reality.
Idea Man by Paul Alen
This is a gem, my prediction this will be made into a movie someday! Paul Allen is truly in inspiration for me as he talked about is early days and his obsession with programming and getting started in the business. It was a real eye opener on how he was able to predict the future and make moves based on his ideas
Fantastic read here friends, one of those books you really don’t want to stop reading until it’s finished, Bravo to Paul Allen The Idea Man
The Obvious by Bill Walsh
Bill Walsh is a personal friend and runs an educational company called Power Team International. This guy travels more than anyone I have ever met and has a ton of connections.
This book if a solid read of things you really need know to succeed in business. If anyone knows how to be around people and make connections it’s Bill Walsh, pick this one up and read it one the plane 🙂
The Road to Riches by Napoleon Hill
A nice extension to Think and Grow, 13 must know keys to be successful in business. Some of the information was the same as his other readings, but it was a nice review of solid information. I would read Think and Grow Rich before this one.
Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
Classic read and one that you should have in your library, I have went through it twice and will likely go through it again. Great book to help with limiting beliefs and how thoughts can control actions.
Pretty Simple the title says it all, older read but stories are relevant even today
Cashflow Quadrant by Robert Kiyosaki
I really like this so much that I listened to it twice. Robert lays it out on how there are 4 quadrants of business. The employees, the specialists, the business owners and the investors. A number of real life examples, interesting stories, and good advice. Which one do you fall into?
The Secret Code of Success by Noah St. John
This was a good read, a solid mind set book, Noah talks about afformations and how your thoughts will turn into reality. As you can tell by the books I have read a lot of mind set books and its an important factor to success.
I signed up for his email list and he sends a a lot of emails with an upsell to his live event. I personally am seeking more specialized knowledge and following these mind set guys will not make you money in my opinion. I liked the read, but the after push was to much for me.
Who Moved My Cheese by Spencer Johnson
Funny one here, but super real and really good. Basically, a story about change and the type of person you are when it comes to change. Are you a early adapter, or are you living in the past?
If you own a company then you and your employees should read this and be on the look out for change today more than ever.
How To Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie
Loved it, even though this was one that was written in the early 1900’s everything and I mean everything still applies to people today. If you want more out of life and plan on making deals with people then you must master this book.
The crazy thing to me is the even with today’s rapidly changing information world people are still people and what really matters when it comes to closing deals and getting ahead is people and how you interact with them.
The Advanced Selling Strategies by Brian Tracy
Another solid read a nice extension of the book above The Psychology of Selling. More tactics, more real life examples, and more stuff anyone who sells needs to know. I need to read this one again.
The are so many golden nuggets in here its impossible to take it all in the 1st time through. Brian Tracy is a great mentor for sales people.
